Add Machine (From Customer Record)

This window is displayed when you click the New Machine button in the main Customer Record.

This window allows you perform the following functions:-

1. Add an entirely new machine into the system. The necessary Machine Registration record is created automatically with the relevant details.

2. Assign a machine that is currently in stock as sold to the current customer. The existing Machine Registration record is modified as necessary.

3. Re-assign a machine marked as sold to another customer to the current customer.

In each case the Machine Registration window is opened so that you can enter any additional information required.


Search Part Ref

Enter the part reference you wish to locate and click Find to search for it.

Find

Searches for the part reference you have entered.

Grid

The Grid displays all Stock records that are flagged for Location Tracking. Highlight the Stock record that relates to the machine you are adding.
NOTE: If the Serial Number already exists in the Machine Registration file then you will be unable to reset the machine type (the new type will be ignored). If you wish to change the machine type then this is done from the Machine Registration window using the Assign button.

Serial No

The serial number of the machine to be added against the customer..

Purchase Date

The date the machine was purchased.

SS

Checked:This machine was sold with a Split Second attachment.

RR

Checked: This machine was sold with a Rug Renovator attachment.

ZB

Checked: This machine was sold with a Zip Brush attachment.

TS

Checked: This machine was sold with a Turbo Sander attachment.

CK

Checked: This machine was sold with a Floor Care Kit.

Ok

Accepts the entries you have made.

Cancel

Closes the window without adding or assigning a machine.
