Form Assignment |
The following window is displayed when you select Forms - Form Assignment from the Maint Menu. |
Form |
Select an appropriate form template from the list box. Note that if you select an incompatible template then it will not be filled in correctly. |
Sched - Immediate |
If selected then the form will be printed immediately suitable data becomes available. (e.g. when you accept a customer order and process it then the Invoice will be printed immediately.) |
Sched - Delay |
If selected then the form will be printed when you select the appropriate print function from the Print Menu. (e.g. even though accepting and processing a customer order provides items that can be invoiced the Invoice will only be printed when you select Invoices from the Print Menu.) |
Sched - Prompt |
If selected then you will be given the choice whether to print the form. (e.g. after accepting and processing a customer order you will be asked whether they want to print the Invoice. If you choose not to then the Invoice will be printed next time you select Invoices from the Print Menu.) |
Sched - None |
If selected then the form is never printed. (e.g. If you want to process customer orders, for say stock control purposes, but do not want to issue Invoices, then select this option.) |
Copies |
The number of copies of the form that will be printed. |
Allow Form Select.. |
If checked then you will be able to select the form to be used at the time of printing. NOTE: This function is not yet available and will be incorporated in a future release. |
Ok |
Saves the settings and closes the dialog. |
Cancel |
Closes the dialog without saving. |
